Tongkat Snape, lagi...

Dari milis Snape-ku, seperti biasa...

On JK's site she says that she gave Harry Ron and Hermione wands made from trees that coresponded with their birthdays. She doesnt say what kind of wands she gave to the other characters except Hagrid, where she says she gave him an oak wand because oak is the tree of the king of forests and what other wood would choose Hagrid. but if she used the celtic method on Severus, his birthday is jan 9 (as is my understanding of the situation, as on jan 9 she had a little calander thingy that read "Happy Birthday Severus Snape") then his wand should be made of Birch.

I checked out a site on the net and it said this about birch wands:
"Birch is associated with purification, protection, fertility and healing. It is also strongly connected with new beginnings, cleansing and new creativity. It makes effective healing or protective wands."

Wierd, huh?
